I am in the midst of doing Lora Jensen's 3-Day Potty Training with Laina. My little girl isn't so little anymore. We took a few parting shots of her huge nighttime fluffy butt. But I don't think I'll miss it too much ;)
So far the method does seem solid, and Lora recommends starting around 22 months. Laina is now 26 months and I can see how starting earlier would be beneficial. She already is somewhat resistant and I think there would be less resistance if she was younger. I have a friend who did have success with this method, and of course there are tons of testimonials on Lora's website.
Yesterday was day 3 for us (well I think it officially ends this morning since we started after breakfast on day 1), and I'm sure Laina "gets it"for pee but not yet for poop. With that said, "getting it" is much different than having her 100% dry and using the potty all the time. I know there will still be accidents, possibly for months. This is definitely a new adventure in parenting and I just have to keep praying for grace and patience.

like the "partng shot."=) after hanna was trained, i learned from an egyptian friend that both of her boys were trained around 17/18 months! i don't know if i'll go that early with our second, but it is encouraging to hear that it can be done. love hearing the updates!
